Safety Commission

The Safety Commission is responsible for ensuring a safe working, research, and study environment that complies with current regulations, while promoting a culture of safety among all staff and students.

Operationally, it:

  • identifies, assesses, and monitors risks present in laboratories and departmental spaces, including interference risks in the case of external activities;
  • ensures compliance with health and safety regulations;
  • defines and updates operating procedures, with particular attention to experimental activities;
  • promotes training activities for faculty members, researchers, and technical-administrative staff;
  • oversees the proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE);
  • collaborates with the University’s Prevention and Protection Service.
