Measurements and Sensors Laboratory (MeSLab)
The laboratory deals with the development of measuring systems for electrical and non-electrical quantities and monitoring systems for large plants and/or harsh environments, such as freeze-drying facilities, photovoltaic plants, and food process industry. The laboratory is also involved in the development of fiber optical sensors for thermal (distributed and punctual temperature sensors), mechanical (acceleration, strain , curvature) and chemical quantities. Sensors and measuring instruments are characterized from a metrological point of view.
