Control systems and robotics
This cluster includes three experimental laboratories dedicated to the development of robotic applications, control systems, data science and optimization algorithms applied to different fields (aerospace, automotive, autonomous systems, AI, etc.). In particular, one laboratory is specialized on the development of robotic applications for safe human-robot collaboration and interaction, leveraging open-source algorithms and AI-based approaches, whose experiments are validated in different robots (mobile agents and manipulators). Moreover, this cluster has a laboratory dedicated to the research on complex systems, numerical optimization, analysis of large-scale data and learning systems, with broad applications in various areas (computational finance, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, smart vehicles and traffic, etc.). Also, another laboratory is in charge of industrial methodologies, algorithms and equipment for the automatic control of dynamic systems, developed for aerospace and automotive applications.
The cluster comprises the following research laboratories:
-
Guidance, Navigation and Control Laboratory (GNAVCONLab)
-
Robotics@DET Laboratory (RoboLab)
-
Systems, Optimization and Data Science Laboratory (SYSOPDATALab)
