Robotics@DET Laboratory (RoboLab)

The RoboLab is devoted to the research and development of robotic applications for safe and interactive collaboration between humans and robots in different fields, and in particular in the industrial (Industry 5.0) and aerospace ones. Localization, mapping, and autonomous navigation algorithms are developed, also in the multi-agent case, based on open-source software (Robot Operating System, using both ROS1 and ROS2 variants), as well as collaborative approaches with humans based on artificial intelligence. The developed solutions are experimentally validated through tests carried out on a variety of robots, both mobile agents and (mobile) manipulators.
