Engineering of the Neuromuscolar System Laboratory (LISiN)

The main mission of the Laboratory for Engineering of the Neuromuscular System is developing advanced, non-invasive techniques for studying the neuromuscular system. Pioneer in the development of high-density surface EMG techniques (HD-sEMG), LISiN develops innovative biomedical instrumentation and advanced signal processing methods by combining HD-sEMG with EEG, kinematics and dynamics data, and muscle imaging. These technologies provide insights into the central and peripheral properties of the neuromuscular system, with applications in ergonomics, rehabilitation, and sport.
