Energy-efficient protocols for Internet of Things (IoT)

This activity leverages compressed sensing, which enables low-complexity information sensing and representation. Compressed sensing is ideal for IoT, where many very simple devices have to communicate in a secure way. We address the problem of distributed systems, and develop protocols for distributed information processing, including information reconstruction and inference. This is done using very simple algorithms in order to avoid reducing sensors' battery life.
