EMC Group (Electromagnetic Compatibility)
Designing and implementing electronic systems that function correctly in a complex electrical environment, as well as meeting governmental emissions regulations, requires continuous developments in modeling, simulation and test procedures for EMC. Research conducted by EMC Group explores the mechanism by which various sources produce electromagnetic disturbances, how disturbances couple to other systems, and how the systems can be protected against electromagnetic interference, and thereby enhance its reliability. Specific lines of activity are: Modeling tools and verification techniques for the Electromagnetic Compatibility of transport systems, and Statistics for Electromagnetic Compatibility predictions and verification. This group is responsible (together with other groups) of the experimental Circuits and EMC Laboratory.
