IoT technologies for tailored and predictive in-vehicle experience

Traditionally, in-vehicle sensors are coupled to the feature they are enabling. This approach is limiting the capabilities and the features that could be provided to the user. This line of research aims at aggregating in-vehicle information, collected by a variety of sensors (environmental data, microphones, etc…), in order to design a system able to detect relevant events and offer new features to improve the user experience.
