IoT microwave systems for Bio-Waste valorization

Agricultural waste has been exploited since ancient times to obtain high-quality fertilizer from bio-waste.

The quality of the material produced derives from a correct control of the composting process, indeed, the monitoring of some parameters such as temperature, moisture and pH determines the correct outcome of the process.

The control of these parameters can be performed by using a microwave sensing system capable of penetrating deeply into the mass, providing a global map of the parameters of interest.

Furthermore, the skills in the IoT field make it possible to collect data in real-time and on-site, integrating them with those coming from different sensors and making them available to the user without having to move to the composting site.
