Innovative reflectarray and transmitarray antennas

The activity is focused on the design of innovative configurations of reflectarray antennas or transmitarrays (discrete planar lenses). The main objectives are: - the introduction of new re-radiating/transmitting elements, allowing an enhancement of the features of the entire antenna system; - the study of innovative antenna configurations, where the transmitting/reflecting surface can be planar or conformed to a desired structure, suitable for different applications, both at microwave or millimeter wave frequencies;  - innovative techniques (e.g. additive manufacturing) for the antenna realization.
