Nonstationary signal processing

Signals in nature are inherently nonstationary because their properties, such as mean, variance, frequency content, change with time due to several physical factors, including temperature, humidity, vibrations, radiations, etc.

This research line focuses on the characterization and understanding of nonstationary signals, as well as of the systems that generate them, with a particular emphasis on their time-frequency representation.
