Control of mobility-on-demand systems

We study optimal policies for increasing the utilization level of mobility-on-demand systems (MOD). The system is modeled via closed queueing networks, or via a stochastic dynamical system. We define a measure of imbalance of the system’s utilization, and we leverage stochastic Model Predictive Control  methods for designing effective redistribution strategies.
