ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN PHOTONICS: Illuminating Opportunities for Early-Career Innovators
On 17 October 2025, the IEEE Photonics Society Italy Chapter, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino and the IEEE Student Branch Polito, will host Entrepreneurship in Photonics – Illuminating Opportunities for Early-Career Innovators at the Sala Conferenze Maxwell of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET).
The event is designed to inspire and empower young researchers, students, and professionals interested in transforming groundbreaking scientific research into entrepreneurial ventures. By bringing together academic leaders, successful entrepreneurs, investors, and IEEE representatives, the program will explore the dynamic intersection between photonics, quantum technologies, and innovation ecosystems.
This initiative celebrates the 60th anniversary of the IEEE Photonics Society while also aligning with the global celebrations of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, highlighting the key role of photonics and quantum technologies in driving future innovation.
