Prof. Lorenzo Columbo has recently published a research article in the prestigious scientific journal "Nature"

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Lorenzo Columbo, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication, Politecnico di Torino, has recently published a research article in the prestigious scientific journal "Nature" (Jan. 2024, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06915-7). The work carried out by Lorenzo is in the field of nonlinear optics and dynamics of chip-scale semiconductor lasers with emission in the mid-infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The research done in the framework of an international collaboration between experimental and theoretical groups is likely to have a significant impact on applications such as high precision molecular spectroscopy and free space optical communications.
