Il Dipartimento di ELETTRONICA E TELECOMUNICAZIONI (DET) è la struttura di riferimento dell'Ateneo nell'area culturale dell'Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), per gli aspetti relativi alle telecomunicazioni, ai sistemi ed apparati elettronici, ai circuiti, ai dispositivi e alle tecnologie, nonché alle tecniche di caratterizzazione e misura e ai settori collegati come la bioingegneria.
Il DET promuove, coordina e gestisce la ricerca fondamentale e quella applicata, la formazione, il trasferimento tecnologico e i servizi al territorio con riferimento agli ambiti dell'elettronica, dei campi elettromagnetici, delle telecomunicazioni, della bioingegneria elettronica e informatica, delle misure elettriche ed elettroniche, dell'elettrotecnica e della teoria dei circuiti.

DET is proud to announce that Prof. Eros Pasero has been selected as IEEE I&M Society Distinguished Lecturer. Only 3 lecturers have been selected for 2021-2024 and Prof. Pasero is the only Italian expert for telemedicine and Artificial Intelligence.
Ph.D. Student David Rodriguez received the second prize in the Student Paper competition of the URSI (International Union of Radio Science) General Assembly and Scientific Symposium 2021, held in Rome from 28.August to 4. September.
