Monitoring measurement and imaging systems
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunications has a sound and recognized expertise in the development of measuring instruments exploiting methods, technologies and sensors able to handle signals ranging from direct current, to microwaves, to the optical domain. For this reason, this research area collects several heterogeneous activities related to systems for imaging, continuous monitoring and measurement of different quantities which are of interest in a wide range of applications. In addition, the research also tackles the system characterization problem both from a theoretical and experimental point of view.
