RF and microwave systems, antennas, radars, and electromagnetic compatibility
The cluster is specialized in the characterization, design and prototiping of high-frequency systems. Materials, devices, circuits, and systems are accurately measured in the RF, microwave, millimeter-wave and terahertz domains, with the goal of identifying accurate technologies and providing experimental support for the development and validation of the developed projects.
The activities cover a wide range of fields, from wireless communications to automotive applications, from biomedical electronics to electromagnetic compatibility. The adopted methodologies range from pure research to solutions tailored for the industrial sector.
The cluster comprises the following research laboratories:
-
Computational Electromagnetics Laboratory (CERLab)
-
EM and Circuits Laboratory (EMCircuitsLab)
-
iXem Laboratory (iXemLab)
