Biography

PhD candidate in Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin. Main research interests: development of advanced space rovers mobility systems for planetary surface exploration and astronaut support with AI methods. Special focus on the development of localisation systems for robotic agents in lunar and planetary environments. The research is pursued in collaboration with the Robotics and Mechatronics Group at Thales Alenia Space Italy. Previously trainee at Robotics and Mechatronics Center of the Deutsche Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt in Munich, where he contributed to the development of rover autonomous behavior for the Autonomous Robotic Networks to Help Modern Societies (ARCHES) space demo mission project. He was awarded a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering at University of Bologna in 2014 and a M.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering at University of Padova in 2021.
