Biography

PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Turin.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and then with a Master's degree in Physics of Advanced Technologies, she spent a year teaching Mathematics and Physics at a high school while doing an extra-curricular internship at the startup Felfil inside I3P, and finally competed for and won a doctoral fellowship sponsored by INFN at the Polytechnic of Turin.
During the three-year thesis she work to verify the operation of new silicon sensors, applied in Nuclear Physics, through measurements of voltage, current and capacitance.
During the master thesis she conducted research activities on the characterization of a new prototype for reading a silicon sensor designed for monitoring in Hadrontherapy. The work focused on the study of the internal DACs of this prototype, through the development of a communication interface with LabView that performs the task of sending commands and reading via FPGA. In testing activities, data analysis was carried out through a first part with a program in LabView and a second part with C++.
During the internship, the work performed consisted of PCB design and development, firmware development in C language for electronic components based on Arduino software, and product assembly. The first PCB prototype for a new product of the company was developed, designed, sent to production and finally tested, in line with the guidelines given by the company.
During the first year of her PhD, she carried out characterization tests on the ToASt ASIC, in particular on its calibration procedure. In addition, she took part in the beam test in Julich, Germany, in which the operation of the setup and acquisition system in which this ASIC was present was verified.
She partecipates to IPRD23 conference in Siena, Italy, where she presented a talk.
The software and programming languages known are: LabView, Verilog, C++, Arduino, Autodesk Eagle, VHDL.
