Gianluca Setti has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings of the IEEE for a second term

The Proceedings of the IEEE (http://proceedingsoftheieee.ieee.org/) is the Flagship publications of the IEEE (also it is also proven by its impact metrics, among which there are for 2020 Clarivate IF = 10.961 and Scopus CitesScore = 21.6) and provides in-depth review, survey, and tutorial coverage of the technical developments in electronics, electrical and computer engineering, and computer science. The editorial board is composed only by IEEE Fellows, showing the outstanding scientific level of the journal. Together with the first term of appointment (2019-2021), this is the first in the in the history of the journal, which can be traced back to its early beginnings in 1909 (when it was known as the Proceedings of the Wireless Institute), in which a non-US scientist to be selected for the role of EiC.
