Electromagnetic Modeling and Applications
This activity is aimed at developing new numerical techniques and computer codes for the analysis and design of two- and three-dimensional electromagnetic structures with abrupt geometrical and/or material discontinuities, such as sharp wedges made of different materials in contact. The activity considers the development of high-order models and fast solvers with broad applications, ranging from Electromagnetic Compatibility and Intentional Electromagnetic Interference to Antennas, Electromagnetic Scattering, and Micromachines.
