Meteorological and Environmental sensors
One of the main activities of the Neuronica lab is the study and development of sensors, wire and wireless, which can be used both in meteorological and environmental applications.
D-Ice, an electronic sensor able to detect ice on his surface was patented all over the world and is now used in roads and airports. But high precision temperature, humidity, pressure, light and other sensors were developed in the lab.
For nautical applications some special sensors are being developed: a wireless low power wind meter, a salt water detector are some examples.
A climatic system, able to measure both climatic and pollutant parameters to give information about the comfort degree of people living and working in close buildings was studied and is now being developed.
