Biography

He received the Laurea degree in Electrical Engineering in 1988 from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. From 1988 to 1990 he was an employee, as control engineer, at Centro Ricerche FIAT in Orbassano (TO), Italy, detached to the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica of the Politecnico di Torino. From 1990 he is an Assistant Professor firstly at the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica, until 2017, and then at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Telecomunicazioni of the Politecnico di Torino. His main research interests are in modeling and control of dynamic systems, robustness analysis and design using H infinity and interval arithmetic techniques, interaction between identification and control, applications of automatic control in automotive systems and in energy management systems. He is co-author of more than 40 scientific publications in international journals, books, conferences and patents.
