Biography

Marco Sento received his master's degree from the Politecnico di Torino in 2023.
He is currently enrolled in the third-level training course in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of Prof. Alessio Carullo, Simone Corbellini and Luca Lombardo.
His research interests focus on:
  • Development of distributed measurement systems
  • Design of wearable medical devices
  • Data analysis techniques
  • Probability and uncertainty
  • Systems for calibration
  • Metrological traceability

His research area is part of the NODES project for the digital and sustainable development of the agrifood sector of northwest Italy.
The work concerns the development of low-power distributed measurement systems for monitoring industrial plants and requires the use of cloud-based solutions and signal processing techniques.
The project involves the development of self-powered long-range wireless sensors for harsh enviroment.
