Biography

Fernando Corinto received the Laurea degree in Electronics and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communications engineering from the Politecnico di Torino,Torino, Italy, in 2001 and in 2005, respectively. He also received the European Doctorate from the Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy, in 2005. For the period January 2004 to May 2004, he had a temporary full-time appointment as Marie Curie Fellow (within the 'Marie Curie Actions' under the Sixth Framework Programme) in the Department of Electronics & Electrical Engineering, University College of Dublin (Dublin, Ireland), working on bio-inspired systems that arise from cardiac fibrillation. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Circuit Theory with the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Politecnico di Torino. His research activity is mainly in the area of nonlinear dynamical systems and locally coupled nonlinear networks. He has been reviewer of several papers for international journals and conferences. Fernando Corinto is coauthor of more than 50 international journal and conference papers.
