Seminar: Advanced photonic materials and devices: a journey from fundamental physics and modelling to applications
Abstract
Advanced photonic materials are a key enabling technology for many applications, ranging from communications to energy, lighting and sensing. The seminar aims at presenting a few examples of recent progress and novel trends in the field of photonic materials and devices, covering aspects related to advanced fabrication techniques, characterization methods and computational approaches.
